CM/ECF Attorney Training Class Registration

All CM/ECF Attorney Training will not take place per recent Orders from the Chief Judge of the U. S. District Court, Southern District of California.

The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California offers CM/ECF Attorney Training. Classes are open to all attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, or others who would be involved in performing or supporting the e-filing process. There is no cost to attend. You may register below to reserve your seat in one of the scheduled CM/ECF classes.

The two and a half hour hands-on training provides users with an interactive approach, as well as, step-by step instructions on how to navigate through the CM/ECF system. Topics include an overview of the CM/ECF system, e-filing a pleading and attachment, sealed civil filing, electronic civil case opening, maintain your account, Policies and Procedures requirements.

All executable (EXE) modules are packaged with Installshield​®. To download and view a module, select it from the list. The file will be downloaded to your desktop. When you run the InstallShield® file, the Electronic Learning Module (ELM) will be installed in the following directory: C\Program Files\SDSD Programs. Once installed, you can access the ELM from the START menu. Additionally, a folder with a Shortcut to the ELM will be placed on your desktop.
