The judges of the Southern District of California deem it desirable that the full-time magistrate judge of the District of Arizona, sitting in Yuma, Arizona, be designated in accordance with Title 28 U.S.C. § 631(a) to serve in the adjoining Southern District of California.

The judges of the Southern District of California do hereby designate the full-time magistrate judge of the District of Arizona, sitting in Yuma, Arizona, to serve in matters arising in the Southern District of California, including the conduct of trials pursuant to Title 18 U.S.C. § 3401, with all the duties and powers assigned to the magistrate by the judges of the District of Arizona pursuant to the Magistrates Act.
