The court adopts the following procedures for defense
counsel to follow, when bringing to the U.S. Marshal’s attention, allegations made
by a defendant regarding inadequate medical attention at a jail facility:
Defense counsel shall articulate, in writing and on
letterhead, the details of the defendant’s allegations and shall deliver or mail
the letter to the U.S. Marshal’s office. Upon completion of the investigation by
the U.S. Marshal’s office, defense counsel will be contacted and advised of the
findings.
