Pro se parties must be granted leave to file documents electronically before registering for CM/ECF training.
Once you register, you will receive a confirmation e-mail from ecfhelp@casd.uscourts.gov confirming your registration. You are encouraged to read the
Administrative Policies and Procedures
Manual and General Order 550 prior to attending the class. All other training materials will be provided to you in class. All training will be held in the Courthouse Annex, 333 West Broadway, in the Balboa Training Room on the third (3rd) floor, San Diego, California unless otherwise instructed. To access the Courthouse Annex you must have a picture ID. Please allow additional time prior to the start of class to enter the federal building due to security at the front door.
No stand-alone cameras/recording devices are allowed in the federal building.
A confirmation will be sent to the e-mail account you used within 24 hours. If you need to cancel or reschedule, you may do so by clicking on the cancellation option in your confirmation email. You may also contact the CM/ECF training staff at 619-557-5601.

This training is for the CM/ECF Application for the
U. S. District Court
, not for the CM/ECF Application for the U. S. Bankruptcy Court. You are more than welcome to attend this course; however, it focuses primarily on the E-filing procedures for the U. S. District Court.
