TAPES OF ELECTRONICALLY
RECORDED PROCEEDINGS:
Tapes of electronically recorded proceedings may be obtained by contacting
the individual court recorder for the district court judge. For all magistrate judge
requests, contact the assigned judge's court clerk. The case name, number, judge
or magistrate judge, and date of hearing will be required to process the request.
A list of staff and contract court recorders' names and phone numbers is available
on-line.
After contact has been made, the number of tapes and costs can be determined. The
fee for a copy of an audio tape is $26.00 per tape. Payment may be made via check,
cashier's check, or money order made payable to Clerk, U.S. District Court.
When payment has been received, the duplicate tape will be prepared. Once payment
has been made, an order cannot be canceled.
TRANSCRIPT ORDERS
Civil and criminal case transcripts may be ordered by contacting the individual
court recorder/reporter present for the applicable hearing and making financial
arrangements. Review the appropriate day's minutes on the Internet via CM/ECF PACER to determine the court reporter/recorder present. Transcript
orders from magistrate case proceedings should be placed with the assigned judge's
court clerk. The case name, number, judge name, and date of hearing will be required

for transcript is based on the per page rate (refer to
General Order 70-H for detailed information).
